The Smart Nation initiative was launched by the Singapore government in 2014 with the aim of transforming Singapore into a “smart nation” by leveraging technology to improve citizens’ lives. The initiative focuses on four key areas: digital infrastructure, data security, digital services, and innovation. The Digital Government Platform (DGP) is one of the key projects under this initiative. It provides a unified platform for government agencies to access data from multiple sources, enabling them to make more informed decisions and provide better services to citizens and business, as well as to create a more efficient and effective government.

Singapore has also taken its Smart Nation and implemented in a variety of sectors, including mobility, healthcare, and education. Through this program, explore the various developments Singapore is undergoing as to moves towards becoming a fully-fledged Smart Nation.
